A lot of his postings were unfortunately due to him not seeing that comments were being moderated. And, as I said before, admittedly the comments moderation was a bit of a black hole for a while. Being that this should be fixed I would hope he would adhere to adding comments to the appropriate posts.

I have been going through the process of eliminating blog entries that were redundant with comments that already exist (and should be visible to all). Yes, VFC, that means blog posts of yours have disappeared but the only ones disappearing are ones that say the same thing as the comments that you claim were "blocked" which are now there).

Also trying to figure out a way to condense the others into comments sections of the appropriate posts, though that's a little trickier (especially those comments-as-blog-posts that have comments of substance attached. Despite his protests to the contrary, the intent here is not to lose any part of the civil discourse). In the interim I will remove the offending posts from the front page. They will still be available by visiting the blog of the appropriate user, but will not show up on the main page.

As part of this process, posts that deal explicitly with the moderation of this site will either be moved (or removed) as part of the cleanup process. That would include this one.

Further, posts that "call out" other members will be removed. The intent is to speak to issues with the blog entries, not to people. Blog posts that mention other members by name will be either edited or deleted at my discretion.

In closing, I would ask that you be civil with each other. I understand this is a heated topic but the more coherent, logical and even-tempered your posts and comments are the more convincing they are.

That seems like a reasonable process. I didn't realize Formosa was a senstative type. I'm not being coy. I've read his own site and just didn't realize I have to be sensative. I do need to correct a few misquotes of his own which I'll do.
