Dear (ASSEMBLY MEMBER OR SENATOR),

Many of our rights are at risk. You have been elected to protect these for us. For many years now New York State residents have been paying a tax that we have no say in because it is controlled by NYSERDA. Assemblyman Paul Tonko is supporting us by trying to get these funds into legislative control so tax payers are properly represented. We strongly advise you to vote to over ride the Governor's veto and take control of these funds. They are grossly being used to destroy our precious environment across rural New York.

Stop violating landowners with deceptive wind farm agreements which you have received copies of. Stop letting them violate the peace and quiet treasured by neighbors. Our quality of life has no price. The absurd inefficiency of wind turbines is not worth being driven out of our homes.

We would be pleased to answer any doubts you may have.

Most sincere regards,

Dear (Assembly MEMBER OR SENATOR),

I am writing as a concerned resident, environmentalist, and registered voter in Franklin County, NY. I am STRONGLY URGING you to support Assemblyman Paul D. Tonko in his efforts as Chair of the Committee on Energy, to take RPS money into the hands of legislators. We, the people are entitled to representation associated with any taxation. It is our Constitutional right and it is the duty of our elected officials to protect these Constitutional rights. We cannot count on the Governor to do so; therefore we are placing it in the hands of our trusted legislators. This is an imperative in an effort to preserve democracy.

Thank you for your careful consideration in this extremely important issue.

Best regards,

What a disgrace to the Adirondack Park seeing those things. Our government leaders should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this into our homeland. The only ones going to benefit from it is their pockets. us that live in upstate New York will not see any tax relief at all; period. All they want to do is raise our taxes and to hell with the working man. It is the working man that pays their wages, it is the working man that builds this state with blood sweat and courage. The New York State government is doing this great state wrong by letting this happen. and they
wonder why the people are moving out of this high taxed state.

LET'S CONTINUE TO GET THE WORD OUT...IT IS OUR RIGHT AS CITIZENS TO NOT HAVE OUR LIVES DISRUPTED AND OUR LAND ERODED BY THE MONSTROUS WINDS TURBINES AND THEIR COMPONENTS

I REMAIN AS COMMITTED AS EVER TO OPPOSE WIND FARMS IN FRANKLIN AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES.

My husband and I have been voting residents of Ellenburg Center for 20 years and in than amount of time we have seen great opposition to different sorts of outside interferences. We are becoming more and more educated on the most recent opposition, ie. windfarms in our area. I must say that once again we are being plagued by 'big money' wanting to take advantage of OUR natural resources with detrimental consequences to our citizens. We are extremely interested in the town meetings that will continue to take place, and would like to know when the next meeting on windfarms will take place. We are completely against the windfarms in this area and, hopefully, once people become more educated about them we hope they will join in the opposition.
Looking forward to your correspondence. Keep up the good work! ~~~~DL
