Thank god its over I see where they are allowing the ones that are 170ft but that is much better than the 450 footers they wanted.

Not quite. The state legislature is trying to remove Home Rule - meaning that any zoning made at the town level would be irrelevant. The state would control where they go regardless of town laws.

Well, Effie, UPC told Bethany at the informational meeting that they didn't want to go where they weren't wanted, that if the town banned them they wouldn't fight it. So I would imagine that they've rescinded their application for at least the Bethany portion of their Genesee/Wyoming County-wide project...right...? I mean, they wouldn't lie to us, would they...?
